Turning Struggles Into Strengths Workshop Series
Turning Struggles Into Strengths Workshop Series
To keep this membership supportive, safe, and effective for both dogs and humans, we hold a few important boundaries:
Humane Training First
We use force-free, relationship-based methods only. Correction-based, aversive, or fear-driven approaches are not supported in this space.
Safety Over Speed
We move at the dogâs pace. Flooding, forced exposure, or âpushing throughâ fear isnât part of our approach. Slow, supported progress is real progress.
Education, Not Emergency Care
This membership provides learning and guidance; not crisis or medical intervention. Members are encouraged to seek professional, in-person support when needed.
Respect Is Required
This is a judgment-free space. Shaming, blaming, or harsh language toward dogs or humans isnât allowed. Curiosity and kindness guide our conversations.
Alignment Over Debate
This is a supportive community, not a place to argue training philosophies. Questions are welcome; challenges to core values are not.
Every Team Has Their Own Timeline
We donât compare dogs or humans. Success looks different for every team, and small wins matter just as much as big ones.
Humans Matter Too
Overwhelm is normal. Taking breaks, asking for help, and adjusting expectations are encouraged. Burnout isnât celebrated here.
Supportive, Not Prescriptive Advice
Members may share whatâs helped them, but no one is told what they âmustâ do. Final decisions always belong to the dogâs human.
Space for Hard Days
Progress isnât linear; especially with fearful dogs. Setbacks, grief, and messy moments are met with compassion, not judgment.
⨠A Final Note
This membership is intentionally values-based. It wonât be the right fit for everyone, and thatâs okay. When the right people come together, dogs feel safer, humans feel supported, and progress becomes possible.
Closing Statement
These boundaries exist to protect safety, learning, and connection.
They allow this membership to be a place where dogs feel safer, humans feel supported, and progress can happen without fear or pressure.
